Cobe to transform Risskov School

Cobe has won the transformation and extension project for Risskov School, creating an extraordinary everyday environment for children and young people in the Danish city of Aarhus.

The upcoming transformation and expansion of this historic public school, originally built in the 1920s with several extensions added later, will adhere to a maximum limit value of 8 kg CO₂/m²/year, in accordance with Danish low-emission building regulations. This entails, among other things, conducting screenings, variant analyses, and a number of overall LCA analyses already during the initial stages to ensure optimal conditions for the future school.

We look forward to collaborating with ABC, NERD Architects, Johansen&Rasmussen, Celis Consult and the City of Aarhus to create an adaptable, robust, and flexible school, focusing on enhancing well-being for all, minimizing climate impact, and honoring the rich cultural heritage of the area.
