Science City North Campus

Science City Campus North is a development strategy for the extension of Copenhagen University and other knowledge institutions in Copenhagen.

From Campus to Knowledge Network

In the future, Copenhagen will live from exporting knowledge to the world even more. Therefore it is important that knowledge institutions and city develop go hand in hand. COBE envisions a process of the integration of knowledge based enterprises and educational institutions – from kindergarten, to university and university spin-off - into a Knowledge Network that is physically supported by interventions in the architectural and urban realm.

From 6 strategies to 100 projects, 1000 ideas and 100.000 users

COBE suggests a development process based on six main strategies that will be translated into a multitude of specific projects and ideas. These will be developed in dialogue with the inhabitants, users and entrepreneurs in the area together with Copenhagen University so that city and university interweave for the benefit of both.
