Schleswig-Holsteinische Landesmuseen Schloss Gottorf
COBE in Copenhagen and COBE in Berlin have together with Arup been prequalified for the competition to develop the museum island of Schleswig-Holsteinische Landesmuseen Schloss Gottorf in Schleswig, Germany. The objective of the competition is to develop the existing Schloss Gottorf of roughly 8.500 sqm, including the existing museum for art, cultural history and archaeology, combining the historic potential of the former ducal residence with the requirements of a modern museum operation. The aim of the competition is to create a modern, exciting and visitor-oriented exhibition concept and an inspiring meeting place for all citizens and visitors.
