Prequalified for European Spallation Source (ESS) - a new research hub in Lund
COBE and a team consisting of Henning Larsen Architects, SLA, NEE Pharmaplan, Transsolar and PhD in Physics Bent Lauritzen have been prequalified to design a state-of-the-art facility for materials research using neutrons - the ESS in Lund, Sweden. The ESS will be a multidisciplinary scientific research centre harnessing the world?s most powerful neutron source. Along with the planned MAX IV facility and Lund Science Village (designed by COBE), the ESS will form a hub in European research infrastructure. The facility is expected to be fully operational in 2020. Read more about the project here.
