New hospital in North Zealand
COBE is part of one of the seven teams selected to participate in the competition for a new hospital in North Zealand, Denmark. Our team consists of Henning Larsen Architects, NNE Pharmaplan and Friis & Moltke, with COBE as sub-consultant together with Norconsult, SLA and SINTEF. Today, the area is covered by three hospitals, which will be merged with the new hospital becoming the main health care facility for 310,000 citizens. The building is expected to cover approx. 120,000 m2 and has a construction budget of 3.8 billion DKK. The hospital is planned for completion in 2020. The six other prequalified teams include Lundgaard & Tranberg, BIG, Herzog & de Meuron, C.F. Møller and SCAU.
