COBE awarded Nykredit's Architecture Prize

Skandinavia's largest architecture prize, Nykredit's Architecture Prize of DKK 500,000, is this year awarded to COBE represented by Dan Stubbergaard. Dan Stubbergaard won Nykredit's Motivation Prize in 2007. At that time, COBE had not completed any projects but has since then seen an impressive professional development, leading to a number of prize-winning national and international projects.

The funding for Denmark's new rock museum is in place. The museum will open its doors in 2014 breathing life into the former industrial area Unicon in the Danish city of Roskilde. The new rock museum will be part of the Rockmagnet complex also housing Roskilde Festival Folkschool incl. student housing, the headquarters of the famous Roskilde Rock Festival, and a public creative communal house.

Prequalified for a new nursery in Copenhagen for 620 children

COBE and TRANSFORM, and our collaborators Rambøll, Søren Jensen, ICP and Tom Nielsen, are today announced as winners of the competition to design the central station area in Aarhus C. The project includes a new urban neigbourhood, a new bus terminal connected directly to the central station and an extension of the shopping center Bruun’s Galleri.

Construction has begun on the new Maritime Museum and Science Center

Construction of the new Maritime Museum and Science Center has started in Porsgrunn in Norway. The building is designed by COBE and TRANSFORM and conveys Norway’s transformation from a seafaring nation to a modern society based on knowledge industry. The new Maritime Museum and Science Center is expected to be completed in autumn 2012. See the project here.
