Construction has begun on the new Maritime Museum and Science Center

Construction of the new Maritime Museum and Science Center has started in Porsgrunn in Norway. The building is designed by COBE and TRANSFORM and conveys Norway’s transformation from a seafaring nation to a modern society based on knowledge industry. The new Maritime Museum and Science Center is expected to be completed in autumn 2012. See the project here.

3 new warehouse buildings at Krøyers Plads in Copenhagen

Today the design of 3 new buildings at Krøyers Plads in Copenhagen has been announced. The project is done in collaboration between COBE, Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and GHB Landscape Architects and is a reinterpretation of the historic warehouses that characterize Christianshavn and the area around Krøyers Plads.

Groundbreaking of Nørreport Station

The building complex will include educational institutions , a 100 meter high housing tower , housing in general , areas on the groundfloor for retail, cafes and similar functions and offices . A total of approximately 80,000 m2.
